Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how IP Labs, LLC ("Rightscape," "we," "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit rightscape.io and its associated pages (together, the "Site"). It applies to the Site only. Use of the Rightscape platform by our customers is governed by separate agreements.
Rightscape is operated by a company registered in the United States. We also serve visitors and clients in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and this policy reflects our obligations under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. The only personal information you actively submit through the Site is via our contact form: your name, email address, company name, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics collects standard usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring URLs, using cookies and similar technologies. Where required by law, these cookies are only set with your consent. In addition, our hosting infrastructure may temporarily process technical data (such as IP addresses) in server logs for security and operational purposes.
We do not collect sensitive categories of personal data through the Site, and the Site is not directed at individuals under 18.
Cookies & Analytics
The Site uses essential cookies necessary for its operation and, with your consent where required, Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used. For more on how Google processes data, see Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
Service providers that support our operations (e.g., website hosting, email delivery, and Google, as the provider of Google Analytics), under terms that restrict their use of the data
Professional advisers and authorities where required by law or to protect our legal rights
A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization
International Transfers
Because we are based in the United States, information collected through the Site is processed in the US. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK equivalent) or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where our providers are certified under it.
Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting business relationship, and as required by law, after which the data is deleted. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. EEA and UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. Residents of certain US states may have similar rights under applicable state privacy laws.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the form found on our website.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
